Hi!
I just recieved my new bike and went for the maiden voyage and during the descents the only thing I could hear was the squeaking rear shock. All bolts are torqued to spec and the sound seems to be coming from the shock which is an Öhlins ttx1 air.
Is this sound normal?

In pretty sure its the tires squeaking against the smooth floor
Try getting some stanchion lubricant spray and putting a little spurt on the rear shock. If the seals are a little dry that might help.
I think you still need to put air in the shock
Do all the adjustments work? In my experience that could be air in the damper, though it’s usually a bit more of a ‘whoosh’ than a squeek. Usually you’ll notice the lockout work less effectively, or the rebound can’t be slowed down much.
I’d also regrease all the bolts and put some silicone spray on the air shaft to see if any of that quietens the bike.

To me, it just sounds like the wiper seal squeaking against the stanchion. I wonder if there’s an aftermarket wiper like the SKF for forks
When and who did the last service on this?
Seal stiction? Maybe lube the inner shock tube, bounce on it, wipe away dirt ring
Maybe a little WPL forkboost on the cylinder walls?
