That shield says that road has way of go… So Even if you come from the right, they go first… it is a triangle with the point down, it does not forbid anything.
Hey I lived there, where you were riding the first few minutes. It's called De Hoven. 1.01 was the hair salon I used to go, I literally lived around the corner, lol.
And always cycle with your toes on the pedals, not the mid-foot. It's more efficiënt.
Poor Trevor 😂 and that is why we put our socks over the trousers or put an elastic band around them when biking. Try wearing skirt! Pain in the ass😂.
Altho..i think a skirt would look weird on you..yeh don't do that😂
I've visited Zutphen so many times last 20 years, my holiday home is nearby, Gorssel…!
Love Noordwijk aan Zee 🤗
Quite the bike ride! I figured the only biking you did was in Limburg… Poor Trevor learned about biking that you need to protect your clothes…😅
Nice video 😊
11.50 on the corner is Hans Anders, got my glasses there and on the opposite you can get great ice cream. Champion ice makers.
You have to set google maps to bicycle….its on cars default
Would you ride your escooter here like you do back home ?
lol you go to fast 27 kmh maximum speed is 25 kmh
10:07 pedestrian zone sign in right top corner.
nice mate. really cool to see my city on your channel
Tourist biking B+
I was born and lived until the age of 34 in the city of Deventer. Approx 15 kilometers north of Zutphen.
The father of a girl friend had a shop in Zutphen selling paint and wallpaper. That was 60 to 70 years ago
In General, the Dutch are more than willing to give you directions if you ask them. Greetings from Tilburg, the Netherlands.
That is where I live, that rough road segment in the start is called "I am a bouncing ball" on STRAVA.
By the way I am now king of the segment, the bridge east to west.
Use the bicycle bell ! and people automatically move aside ! without looking back.
I like your family bicycling adventure, and I think all of you was dressed up in "the american uniform".
It was apropriate but put the right trouser leg inside the sock!
The Dutch is knowed for not using helmets, dont do as they do, do as they tell you to do, put on a bicycle helmet!
Next, there is a bell on the handlebar, use it to inform pedestrians in front of you with a little pling, then they step aside!
Soo.. no collision, no one was injured, so by US standard you passed the test!😀
Looks like a great ride
Kinda weird seeing you bike through the city I was born and raised in. Still come there regularly, lovely old city.
Great to see you cycling in my hometown. 😊
