You were supposed to stay on the bike, but you fell off the bike. Try not doing that.

Are you asking what caused you to go too deep/jump too far?
AdviceNotAskedFor on
Keep in mind I don’t jump on bikes, but I use to on snowboards, my opinion is it looks like you missed most of the transition.

You zigged instead of zagged.

looks like u didn’t get your foot on the pedal in time try to do the trick faster or maybe that jump just doesn’t have enough air for it

Centre a mass seems off. Your body is tilted away from the bike causing a washout.

Hard to see. Either your left leg slipped off or your legs weren’t strong enough to absorb the impact. You jumped pretty high/far, if you landed higher the impact wouldn’t have hit as hard. Your suspension got completely cooked by it and your ass hit the seat hard

I think you landed with the front wheel sideway but your body wanted to go straight

Too much cowbell.
You missed almost all of the landing and your suspension bottomed out and bucked you off.

I’m no expert but aren’t you supposed to be on the bike after a jump?
AS82 on
You landed great in the transition, BUT on slow mo it looks like on the landing your left foot blew off the pedal, and chaos ensued. Could be foot position, could be you needed a little more compression on the rear shock to handle the impact….looks like you bottomed your rear shock and that probably blew your foot off when you bottomed.
bigwindymt on
Yeah, you overshot the transition by 10+ feet.
ChuckFinli on
You didn’t take both feet off, would have landed a no foot can
Cannonballbmx on
Looks like you don’t have enough rebound control on the rear shock, so when you landed it kind of bucked you off to the side a little bit and you lost traction.

From my observations it seems to be the fact you have cranks on that hog, maybe try out some pegs next time.

Landed at a angle, then when suspension was done absorbing the landing it threw your balance off and you tried overcorrecting throwing your back wheel out with all the momentum of the landing angle.
INV-U on
Your left leg gave out/backpeddled from weight on that side goes slack and sprung your right leg up , which is the one you would instinctively push down on to correct but it slipped and then the weight all went left. Slight overshoot with maybe a bad footing/grip on hard landing.

Landed hard on your tail and your balance was thrown

You bottomed out your suspension which caused you to be bucked off your pedal. The camera angle makes it hard to tell, but you probably hit the jump too fast and too high.

Kyle Jameson does some dope one footed tables similar to what it looks like you’re trying for, you should check some of his video segments and pics. Decide what you’re going for to start before trying to mix in variations. He generally keeps at least one of the axles closer to center mass trajectory than you did, which should help bringing the bike back after easier.
You also braced hard for impact, and unless your captain america, ain’t no way you’re going to be strong enough to hold landing the bike that deep and sideways. Would probably have been able to salvage if you’d brought the bike further back by tucking as you landed instead of kicking your legs out to brace. You’d have stacked for sure, but maybe been able to kinda ride it out instead of slapping the deck.
Also I legit think you would have landed that smooth if the jump were 2x bigger. I know everybody is joking about going slower or hitting crabapple, but that same trick would do numbers and work on crabapple.
Either way, looked rad and like you’re really fuckin close to nailing it. Hopefully you didn’t get too injured from that and are able to get it before the season ends.
