The 37 year old Honda Dominator NX650 RD 02 from 1989 is back! Fully restored, engine rebuild, no more funny noises, no clicking, no rattle…it sounds like a dream! I bought it 10 years ago and soon after started my YouTube channel, travelling the world on it! Everything changed and now I’m getting her back on the road! Let’s do this!🤙🏼

  1. Love to see the Dominator back in action.
What piston do you have now? Size and brand? And what jets?
Mine has a 102.4 wiseco(high compression=high octane gas) piston but I'm struggling to get it dialled in. Maybe your info could help me.
    Thanks

  2. I have Bashplate envy, my bike has a plastic one and concidering its 39 years old and nobody ever made an accessory one. It's a 1987 Laverda Atlas, only 400 ever made.

  3. Hello friend! You’ve made my day, welcome back Dominator, I watched the video while I was having my breakfast with a big smile in my face hearing that beautiful engine sound. I can’t wait to see your new adventures riding the gorgeous Dominator, after all the electric nonsense ( my opinion of course) you can’t beat the sound of a piston pounder bike. Love it. ❤️👍

  4. I truly believe that a bike is happiest when its owner loves it.
I can't wait for your future videos!
Wishing you and your Dominator all the best!👍

  5. It’s so exciting to start using this great motorcycle. I’ve followed you right from the start, and it’s been so thrilling to follow you on all your adventures. Good luck with everything ahead.❤

  6. I love these old Hondas. I own a pd06 transalp 1994 an i love it. My licence i make in 1996 on a red dominator like yours.
What chinese bike is that from the Shop owner?

  7. Hi Marc, really nice to see your old Dominator again, and she looks like new.
I understand you gonna love to ride on new adventures with her.
    Stay safe 🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥🔥

  8. Fantastic always use the best fuel you can buy never put in E10 i use E5 on old bikes with valve master plus which has E stabiliser E10 eats the rubber float needle tips and many other plastic/rubber parts

  9. The domi works just fine with 91 octane fuel due to its low compression. No need to pay extra for something you don't need. It won't make it any faster or stronger.

  10. Sooo nice, that the mighty Dominator is back in business now!
I wish you safe travels with it for the next 100000 km of the bike!
But what was the problem last time, when it did not work after the rebuild?
    Beste Grüße auf Süddeutschland!
