Wow ! Last time I spied a Mk 1 was at a scramble in Little Norton in Somerset. 1973 . Yeovil M/C club event .
This Yellow bike brought back a lot of memories . Great days of my ‘ misspent’ youth !
I learnt my Trials skills in this area , had the 31st production Model 10 ( 1965 ) DSF 511 C .
In Canada now 46 years and have 4 Spanish classics .
Best part of those early years was the ‘ Older Folk ‘ who were happy to mentor and instruct a young Lad in the discipline of off road riding . Names I will never forget ! Mike Hann , Badger Goss , Jim Wilde , Reg White and loads more .
