A week bikepacking the French Alps with Samer Abouhamad — Briançon to the Gorges du Verdon, averaging 70-80km a day, camping most nights along the way.
The route ran south from Briançon along Lac de Serre-Ponçon, past the Demoiselles Coiffées rock formations and the town of Seyne, through the limestone canyon of the Clue de Barles, and into Moustiers-Sainte-Marie at the edge of the Gorges du Verdon — finishing with a loop along the Route de Crête above the gorge. Six riders, four nationalities, ages 24 to 61.
Samer spent three years bikepacking the world — roughly 75,000km across six continents and more than sixty countries — before any of this. In May 2026, he and Grit & Dust rode this route together for the first time.

Damn ! Inspiring big time ! You are living the best life ever compared to those who are wasting their time working their ass off or sticking to their cell phone all day without seeing what the real world is all about. Congratulations dude ! BTW, I lived in Boston and Cambridge in the late 90ies. If you ever come back to the French Alps, let me know as I live there.
