I am trying by to set sag on my 2023 salsa horsethief with a rock shock revelation rc fork. At 95psi I get 10% sag, according to rock shock I should be at 128psi, at that I would have 0 sag. Am I missing something? Before today it was at 89psi (bike shop setting) and I topping out at maybe 75-80 of full stroke. Thanks for any help, newbie to suspension. Rode a single speed with front suspension that the bike shop I worked at setup for me for 20years.

How much do you weight?
Are you sure you’re checking the sag correctly? You have to bounce on it crazy style to break the friction between the dust wiper and the stanchion body then sort of let it settle into place. Supporting yourself from tipping over can sometimes give a bad reading too. Fork sag is harder than shock sag because you’re supposed to be in a “riding position” to put the correct amount of weight over the front wheel to simulate actual riding.
You also have a shit load of rise in your bars so there is less weight over the front wheel and more over the rear (assuming your dropper is all the way up). Those numbers on the fork sticker are just starting points, most people go up or down some amount.
IMO as long as you’re using like 90%-95% of your travel on a “normal ride” spring rate is fine just spend some time fine tuning damping. It’s not a super high end fork so there’s probably a pretty big range that’ll feel and perform acceptably.
