I’m working on upgrading my older GT Backwoods. The factory shift cables are exposed along the frame and run through this plastic guide at the bottom of the bottom bracket. I’m hoping to run housing the entire way as part of the upgrade. I found brake cable guides so I don’t have to drill out the existing guides on the down tube but do they make something I could replace this plastic with to hold a housing and not bare cable?

Why would you want to run brake cable housing all the way? Every inch of housing introduces more drag than exposed cable
