  1. Patrick Vs Benji GT Picks
    Scores after stage 18:
    Patrick: 224
    Benji: 186

    The misunderstood genius of Patrick:
Patrick Dec 25 "This is the TT Kung loses by 10 secs every year."
Patrick Aug 26 "Kung's going to win"
End result: makes no sense, scores 15 points anyway.

    Stage breakdown:

    Patrick
    Route release: Vine 0 pts
    Week before: Kung 15 pts
    Day before: Hayter 6 pts
Kung losing by exactly 10 secs: 0 pts
    Total: 21

    Benji
    Route release: Tarling 0 pts
    Week before: Vine 0 pts
    Day before: Hayter 6 pts
    Total: 6

    Stage 19 picks
    Patrick
    Route release:Carapaz
    Week before: Carapaz
    Day before: Almeida

    Benji
    Route release: S Yates
    Week before: Roglic
    Day before: Buitrago

On route release stage 19 was described as "up and down and up and down." Benji went Simon Yates with Patrick going Carapaz. Mass panic then ensued as the competitors realised they hadn't mentioned Carapaz once. This is rectified on the week before pod with Patrick 'doubling down' on him, whilst Benji goes Roglic. Today we've got picks of Buitrago and Almeida.

With 20 points available in the KOM battle, and another 48 available on stage 20, technically the KOM battle isnt done yet. So expect to see Buitrago in the break again tomorrow, and possibly Fortunato if he hasn't given up yet.

I'm thinking tomorrow is going breakaway, as the main GC will want to save for the queen stage. So I'm going VPP purely because I'd love to see him get a win across all 3 GT's. Also because he's in my fantasy cycling team, which is looking very unhealthy ATM; I managed to pick the only UnoX rider who has never been in a breakaway (Anyone seen Tjotta recently 🤷) Let's go Valentin!

  2. I want to see Fin Fisher/Black in the break, with Roglic attacking on the decent of the second 2 last climb, Finn pulls on the flat and hopefully the first couple of K's on the last climb to launch Rogla, game on ❤🔥🔥🔥🌶️❤️

  3. Mas chasing down Pog on the gravel announced his form. The TT was the best of his career by far. Primos was good. Even if he wins the Time Trial, Mas still loses less than a minute.

I just hope Roglic doesn't throw away 2nd place trying to win #5. I want him to ride next season with a team that will provide good support.

  4. Hi, hiii buddies Patrick and Benji boy

You know by now that I love Roglic…

Nevertheless, Mas is showing us all that this Vuelta is his to win… So much respect and love for Enric, he deserves this so much ❣

And Swiss King Küng is back !!!!! 🥰

  5. I like, “The red jersey gives you wings.” Things are looking good for Enric Mas at this point. It will be a great story for him personally after finishing second 3 times and 3rd once in the last 4 years. It will also be a great story for Movistar.
