Hey, I got a Canyon Endurace CF 8 Di2 last month and it has been a great bike so far. I changed my seatpost height this morning before going for a ride and then during the ride while going around ~42kph, ran over a sewer cover, I felt the seatpost slide below me quite a bit.
I stopped on the side as I was a bit shook and inspected the bike, it looked okay but I'm not sure if it was the seatpost sliding or saddle rocking. I've inspected the seatpost after coming home, there seems to be some visible deep scratches on the post. Are these anything to worry about?
I did torque the seatpost to the correct torque before leaving for the ride and after coming back, but not sure if the tool is just not calibrated correctly. Adding the photos of the seatpost.
