Genius move for MvdP to swing left at the very end. If Pedersen had been able to get in his slipstream, that could have been enough to come around in time.

Still haven't seen an overhead of crossing the finish line.
Cofidis was pulling like crazy without eveb having Fretin on their wheel.. he finished 9th behind mohoric pluimers and turgis… had they spoiled MVDP masterpiece for a 9th place…

The best of sporting spirit here on full display. Pogacar and VDP relaying without holding back until the end to keep the sprinters away. Pogacar certainly knew he could not beat VDP that day but he fought anyway to see VDP win the stage. Pogacar and VDP are class acts and respectful champions from head to toe.
