Hi, I'm looking for some options to store our trailer hitch bike rack in our garage. We don't have the wall space for one of those trailer hitch mounts, so I was thinking of doing a pulley system for the ceiling. I looked at the Thule option (pretty expensive) and some others. I like the hand crank on the Thule, but our ceiling is 12 feet, so it can't reach the floor. What other options would you recommend?

I have the easy lift. That will work for high ceilings. The instructions will tell you to space the pulleys a certain way, meant for a rooftop box. You’ll want to change that spacing to be appropriate for your rack. But it’s flexible and you’ll be able to get it to workÂ
