Torn between two bikes but leaning towards the Commencal.
I am relatively new to mtb, been riding for 6 months on a hardtail but looking to get a full suspension. Live in Vancouver so ride the north shore/squamish and will do the occasional trip to whistler. I typically do blue and black trails, my current bike is. 130mm travel hardtail which I’m now bottoming out pretty frequently (bought it to see if I like mtb and definitely caught the bug)
Not interested in racing just like having fun on trails and getting some exercise
Both are coming in around the same after taxes, initially was holding out for a sale on Canyon and spotted the Commencal which caught my eye.
Which would you choose and why?
Note:
I also considered a more enduro spec bike like Commencal V4 SX or YT Capra uncaged 10 but from chatting to a bike shop they suggested a trail oriented bike first.

This really comes down to a Rockshox v Fox and SRAM v Shimano decision imo. I personally love my Commencal Meta HT. It’s a very playful feeling bike.
