Back in the VRS and got to remember that unlike the Volvo that has the upgraded brakes….. this is standard road spec and so they smelt a bit at the end.
But as far as I know, you should not put any other road users in danger, even if you see blue lights in the UK. They should still obey all road rules, so they shouldn't drive onto a kerb.
So many clueless drivers making absolute tits of themselves in these videos. Never seen someone try to actively stop an overtake though, that was ridiculous.
It really strikes me the recless crazy dangerous rule breaking these emergency response drivers do at stupid speeds when they're not allowed to even under emergency conditions is half the reason we have a higher incident of poor neglectful drivers and rule breakers on the roads, and why high speed accidents happen more often. These divers do cause deaths and other accidents at significant costs to the tax payer and its all neglected. It strikes me if your brakes are smoking they're running hot and could fail, but did you slow down?ometimes you come behind traffic so fast they dont have time to react or know your intensions, and force other drivers into bad situations. 60 mph or faster in a 30, shouldn't be allowed under any circumstances.
Quick question: if someone deliberately obstructs an emergency vehicle and it is recorded by the dashcam, can this video sent to the police? Would they care? Would this be enough evidence? Could they prosecute the driver?

Good grief – the BMW looks to be foreign plates (white rear plate give that one away) – I suspect their instinct was to move to the right and help clear the way which is what they were trying to do – so many quick to judge huh!

If you don’t know how to give way to a emergency services vehicle you shouldn’t have a driving license, what an absolute whopper in that BMW
