Join me and my mate Brian for a fun and challenging mountain bike adventure around our local trails in Stanley, County Durham.
Brian loves cycling and enjoys riding many of the same trails as me, but on this ride I take him on some routes he hasn’t explored before and introduce him to a few of the challenging hills around the Stanley, Annfield Plain, Beamish, Dipton and Tantobie area.
And these aren’t just any hills! 🌶️ I rate the difficulty of my climbs using the strength of an Indian curry — and this particular climb earns itself a **Madras** rating! Things get tough, so we need a little inspiration from Rocky to keep us moving when the legs start to burn. 😂
After tackling the climbs, we’re rewarded with some fantastic singletrack and off-road trails as we make our way back towards home. Along the way there’s plenty of scenery, laughs, banter and my usual talking nonsense — exactly what a relaxed day out on the mountain bikes should be about.

Ive been watching your videos for a while now and i always used to be obsessed with mileage and speed but you have taught me to slow down and enjoy the jigsaw pieces. Cheers lee. Looks like a canny trail ride that Lee,,don't think av ever been on them trails before, so somethink new for me ,,,any chance you can start putting like a screen shot of the map of your rides at the end of videos please think it would be really helpful for the people who haven't got GPS computers,,,and can sort work out where to start from and go ,,,keep them rides up bud 👍
