I Was Completely Soaked… Then This Happened in Slovenia 🇸🇮🚴‍♂️

After crossing into Slovenia, this ride turned into a real adventure. 🇸🇮🚴‍♂️

I arrived completely soaked after riding through heavy rain and set up my tent at a campsite. The rain continued the next morning until around 2 PM, so I had no choice but to stay, dry my clothes and gear, and wait for the weather to improve.

Once I finally started riding, the journey towards Ljubljana — the capital of Slovenia was completely different. I cycled through beautiful small villages, countryside roads, farms, apple and plum-growing areas, and some amazing cycling tracks.

Along the way, I met a few fellow travellers and had some unexpected conversations and memorable moments. One European traveller even offered me a drink — one of those small moments that makes a long-distance cycling journey special. 🍻

I also stopped at a local restaurant for some really good food before continuing the ride.

In this video, I share my real experience of cycling through Slovenia — the climbs and descents, elevation, roads, cycling infrastructure, how drivers respect cyclists, village life, construction, local lifestyle, camping experience, and the cost of staying at a campsite near Ljubljana.

Finally, after a long day on the bike, I completed the ride and reached Ljubljana. 🇸🇮❤️
