Looking for opinions on my Canyon situation.
I bought a refurbished Endurace (Champagne) CF SLX 7 AXS in 2XS. It arrived with additional paint damage that wasn’t shown in the listing, but I confirmed the damage is cosmetic only.
Canyon offered me two options:
- Keep the bike and take a $250 partial refund.
- Return it for a full refund and receive 10% off a new full-price Canyon bike.
I’m considering switching to the Aeroad (Crystal White) CF SLX 7 AXS, but I really want Metallic Acid in 2XS and it may not be available until October.
Would you keep the Endurace and take the $250, or return it and move to another white Aeroad?

I’d keep the bike I bought.
Feels wrong to gain from the issue if you made the wrong decision.
If you are not satisfied return it immediately instead of having to live with that
Keep it. That cosmetic damage is nothing.
I see almost no paint damage here. It’ll get scratched soon thereafter. I would keep it 100%
Keep it and take the offered $250.
I barely see anything in the low light photos you posted.
