Advance Roller Wheel (66mm) vs Roller Wheel for G Line (80mm)
I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone which is which.
I was unimpressed with the Advanced Roller Wheel build quality compared to Easy Wheels, but now….I think I might be angry. The size differences aside, one of these is designed for real world conditions and the other is designed for shelf display. 🤬 And in the USA the Advance Roller Wheels are more expensive ($65) than the G-Line Roller Wheels ($45)!
(In the UK they're closer in price, £33 vs £35, with the rugged G-line rollers being understandably more expensive.)
The plan is to follow in u/darehitori footsteps, however there is a momentary snag: I need to make sure that my Brompton will still fit everywhere it needs to go (shelf / car / bag) with the new rollers. (Yes, a few millimeters can make a difference, I learned this when my 12-speed came with an extended seatpost and I couldn't fit it into my Eket ðŸ˜.)

I bought the 70mm all around … didn’t want the crap rubber band that falls off so easily.
Seems Superoll+ is the advance rack with these better wheels … unsure if it’s the same 80/70mm config the G line rack has?Â
Can anyone confirm on their C/P/T superoll+ rack?Â
Just swapped the 2 Advance rollers that came with my optional T-line Advanced rack with a pair of G-line rollers. Night and day difference. It’s hard to believe that Brompton sells the P & T Line bikes with these shite Advanced rollers.
