Im on my way back from a 4 day bikepacking trip where I spent about 95% of the ride on tarmac. The 40mm P-Zeros on the 40mm ZIPP XPLR wheels are such a great match. They are really plush, handle perfect on road, still feel good on light gravel and they make the bike look so nice.
Didn't go for fork bags as I wanted to stay light and didn't need to carry any camping equipment.
Once again the MOG is still up there with the best road and gravel bikes out there.
Other noteworthy things:
- The Wove Mags is a great saddle but I'll be going back to the Wove M8
- 38t chain ring is very nice when crossing the Alps, even with a MTB cassette
- The Ascent Aeroo bars feel very harsh compared to the ENVE AR bars
- I'm unsure about the saddle bag rail thingy. On the one hand it makes the saddle bag (arschrakete / the ass rocket, lol) more stable. On the other hand it makes the whole bike wobble more. I'll leave it at home next time
- The Apidura bags are nice but I'll be upgrading to a full set of Tailfin bags next season
- I got lots of compliments about my bike being so pretty. I really like the way the MOG looks but it's nice that other people see that too!

Man, I am drooling.
Bike looks incredible. What seat post is that?
OP, is that suspension post working okay with a bag attached to it?
Is this for a round the world trip?
Did you replace the original zipp decals? Those look way brighter
Incredible build
Looks exceptional!
Looks amazing
Man these wheels with the 40 mm pzero look fantastic! I am currently riding 50 mm gone rx pro with standard allow wheels and now thinking about upgrading…
