So I thought a hot Friday night around Poole Harbour and Sandbank would mean a dead shift because everyone would be out drinking and chilling on the beach. I was I wrong! This turned into one of the most hectic, blisteringly hot, and non-stop busy delivery shifts I’ve had in a long time.

The madness kicks off straight away with a massive, steep downhill run where I managed to rip down so fast I actually set off a speed camera at 30 mph! The girls at the bus stop were not impressed by my accidental land-speed record.

Once the orders started flying in, I spent the rest of the night ripping around the beautiful views of Poole Harbour and Sandbanks, dropping off Deliveroo orders on my mountain bike.

Working the gig economy can be pure chaos when it’s this busy, but getting out there, keeping it active, and spinning the pedals is a great way to maintain a Positive Active Lifestyle (PALs) and do wonders for my Mental Health.

  1. "A hot, hectic shift but getting out there ripping along the coast does wonders for the mental health. Huge thanks for watching, everyone! Were the girls at the bus stop right to not look unimpressed or was 30mph down that hill a decent effort? Let me know in the comments and subscribe for the next ride!"
