The Como measure does not sound that extreme to me. Cyclists–and I am one–have brought it upon themselves. There is a huge graveyard across from me which used to be a favoured training ground of racing cyclists, but they did not abide by the agreement to keep their speed low and were consequently banned altogether. The same is true of McGill's downtown campus.
As for the Quebec City tram: funny that there is an election in early October and this is now going ahead. The CAQ government, which has spent eight years in power, has periodically raised the prospect of a third link across the St. Lawrence river for automobiles, but has been noticeably lukewarm about the tram. It should not take so long, but just the fact that it is going ahead is to be saluted.

I am currently in Italy cycling from south to north. Oh boi is this country unfriendly for cycling. Jesus christ i haven't experienced something this bad on my bike for years. Can't wait to be back across the alps
