I’d contact Schwalbe. Idk these tires personally, but it doesn’t look great.

Looks like a manufacturing defect, the carcass is deformed. I’d reach out to schwalbe and get them to replace this.

  3. It can happen from defects or tears in the threading underneath causing it to not be uniform. Normally it’s not an actual issue for performance but, personally, I wouldn’t trust it and would probably just reach out to schwalbe or the retailer to exchange.

  4. Return it for replacement. That is a manufacturing defect. I had a similar defect with the same RS One Pro whatever that thing is called 🙂 I emailed Schwalbe, they confirmed it, retailer swapped is no problems.

  5. send pictures to the Schwalbe warranty link on their website.

i had a RS pro that wasn’t that bad but had a big wobble and they replaced it and gave me 50% off a second tire with free shipping.

No idea how these tires pass QA and get sent off to customers.

  6. Manufacturing defect, run it up the chain through the vendor you obtained these from vs Schwalbe directly.

This is my understanding of the issue. Some of these issues arise because the kevlar plies used in the construction of bicycle tires absorb moisture, leading to poor adhesion and separation of the rubber from the ply.

Many factories will cook off the moisture in the morning, but the kevlar can absorb enough moisture to cause issues throughout the day.

Something about Schwalbe’s production seems more prone to this.

  7. I have them. Great, fast tires, but mine don’t look like that. As others have said, warranty them.
