Todayโ€™s ride took me from Udine to Trieste, Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น โ€” but this was much more than just another day of cycling.

I had ridden this same route before, and I still remember what happened back then. I stayed at this same campsite for 7 days, went through a lot of pain, suffered an injury, and eventually had to undergo surgery.

Now, after everything, Iโ€™m back on the same route again โ€” this time on my India to England cycling journey.

The ride took me through beautiful countryside, forests, vineyards and olive-growing areas. I also had some elevation to climb, experienced the cycling roads of Italy, and spoke about what itโ€™s really like to ride long distances here alongside regular traffic.

There was also a small navigation adventure ๐Ÿ˜… โ€” Komoot took me slightly off route at one point, but eventually brought me through some amazing roads surrounded by fields and forests.

And after a long day in the saddle, I reached the campsite in the evening, set up my MSR tent and settled in for the night.

Dinner was another storyโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜… I found rice, but somehow the rice bowl had almost no rice!

This is not just a cycling video. Itโ€™s a story about coming back to a place that once gave me a lot of pain โ€” and facing the same road again.
