Hi guys kinda a dumb question but was just wondering could anyone help me I just got my new coil on the bike and was wondering is that little blue ring meant to be an indicator of how much travel is used or is it part of the seals (it doesn’t move when I compress the shock) so was wondering is it just stuck or am I just dumb. I believe That’s just the seal for the shaft.
Not meant to move.
Sram/Rockshox has excellent documentation for their products.
You can go to the Sram service hub and look up the specific shock, or just Google the name of the shock ( or fork, brakes, derailleur) followed by *service manual*
You’ll be able to download a PDF for the generation of your shock, with exploded views of internals as well as part numbers for rebuild kits for the various models of that shock.
There will be several different options, one for regular service, another for more in depth service, and so on, a user manual with basic setup instructions, etc…
And yeah it’s a seal.
I hope you had the coil tuned for the bike.
