The city has issues for sure, like many towns in the UK right now. The filth, homelessness, substance abuse and lack of public services are issue that need sorting as soon as possible for the sake of this country. What a difference to the cobblestones of Dryden Street where my grandpa lived. We used to visit him in the summer 60 years ago. His house is gone and in it's wake more student residences. I used to love Nottingham.

The fact is currently Nottingham has amongst the lowest murder rates in the UK, at 0.5 per 100,000 of population.
