On a narrow, car-lined residential road, only about 125 metres or 30 seconds from the end of the road, an entitled driver took exception to my existence, beeping his horn, squeezing past, and questioning – in an oh-so-polite way – why I was riding there! I don’t know. Maybe I was there because it was a signed cycle route to the city centre?
Unfortunately, while I had this video all ready to submit with a police report, for some reason it slipped my mind and I missed the ten day cut-off. So, the driver gets away with it this time.

Was that an 'Ashley beep' he gave you?
Surely he was just letting you know he was there and not that he has anger management issues.
because there are too many obstacles abandoned on the road causing a door swinging danger. Get them into driveways or car parks or not at all.
dude is probably yelled at by other drivers often for not knowing how to drive so they lash out their frustration at some random bike-riding stranger instead
This is why I won't ride on the road anymore, I go on the pavement for my own safety.
As a cyclist I can say that riding in the middle of the road is stupid not are you holding up cars that are burning fossil fuels your putting yourself in front of a car duh, it's much safer and kinder to the environment to ride on the path and there's a bonus you won't get angry motorists that your holding up shout and get aggressive with you
Drivers need to re learn the road rules and excercise patience. Literally seconds up the road he has to stop anyway.
That’s the biggest bell ever.
0:50 Cycling the wrong direction on way-way street? Hmmm…… pot / kettle etc…
Ah… There is a sign, you're right. My mistake! 🙂
