🌑 RIDING TO THE DARK SIDE! 🏍️
Lou and Paul jump on their motorcycles and ride 60 miles to the south coast of the UK in search of the perfect view of the solar eclipse — and to check out a brand-new bike night along the coast.
With plenty of bikes, bikers and a great atmosphere, it should have been the perfect evening… but things don’t quite go to plan! 😳
The eclipse turns out to be a little more underwhelming than we expected, but then Lou has an EPIC motorcycle fail in the car park — right in front of a crowd of other bikers! 😂🏍️
Was the 60-mile ride worth it? Did we actually get the eclipse view we were hoping for? And what exactly happened to Lou?

A another enjoyable vlog
Also not that impressed with the eclipse, we actually had a bit of cloud and it really wasn't that dark
I don't go to the Bognor west park bike night because I can walk there quicker than I can get ready a get there on my bike. Part of safety is making sure you don't pass out. A welding shield for arc welding is fine but brazing goggles which those are are too weak. The solar eclipse was one of most over hyped events of the year.
Enjoy the weather while it lasts – it will be cold and wet soon enough. Any news on changing bikes?
Yes l was totally underwhelmed by the "Eclipse" we expected it to go completely dark, but not to be, great vlog, l felt your pain Louise when you stalled the bike, but hey shit happens, one thing you have both done is made me think long and hard about getting another bike, just gotta get the boss on side 😉
Another great video from you both. Great to see how you both enjoy being out on your bikes. Eclipse was a bit of a disappointment but on the plus side you rode through some amazing country side.
The most we got of the eclipse was a baked bean type image, we are in the wrong country for it 😂!

Being from Brighton, we used to go to Butlins at Bognor quite regularly, funnily enough it was there I first road a motorbike. There was a a chap with little two stroke motorbikes and you could pay 50p to ride on them around the circuit. Being a bit of a tom boy I asked me mum if I could have a go, which was fine as she road bikes when she was young. I am sure that cemented the idea that I was getting a bike as soon as I was old enough.
We're used to eclipses here. Everytime our overweight neighbour hangs her vest on the washing line, we loose a hours daylight 👍
Great video. It was good to catch up with you both again at my local bike meet and share the underwhelming eclipse. Much as it will be a shame for this epic biking weather to end it will at least allow for some more Hornet content from you! Ride safe. Jason
