  1. Roglič hasn't checked out of the sport, he's checked out of RB. With that said, this would be his last race with RB and he needs a good result to assure interested WT teams that he's not washed. The problem is that he recently got hit by a car, so who knows what his form would even be if he starts this Vuelta. If he comes in 90% healthy he probably podiums.

  2. To me it is less about who can beat Pogacar because if the field at the Tour couldn't come close, then this group of competitors has no realistic chance. The question is can he stay safe and conserve energy enough to win the World Championship two weeks after the Vuelta completion? This is particularly of concern given the combination of heat and climbing the Vuelta has in it.

  3. Better increase your covering of the female riders instead. I am nor gonna spend a minute watching the mens Vuelta. After seeing this years female TdF I know what to see in the coming years.
