Italy combines great food, breathtaking landscapes, and an overabundance of historic buildings dating back millennia. But how is it for cycling? In this episode of Long Way North (vol 4.), Oscar Boyd and his friends cycle the length of Italy, starting out in Sicily and working their way through Matera, Rome, Siena and Bologna, before finishing up in the Italian Alps. The trip was 2,000km in all, with 20,000 meters of climbing, over 19 days.
