My first venture into gravel as an mtber. I saw an offer for a Kona Ouroboros Carbon for 1.300€ and had to try it out. Dropper post, front suspension and Kona marketing all made it an easy decision to try this rowdy boy of a gravel. I already „side-graded“ to a csc carbon wheelset with schwalbe 40mm tires to make it a bit more efficient so i can keep up with my newly acquired gravel friends. A new world with more fun than i expected just openend up for me!

Wow that’s a funky and cool bike. I’ve not seen one of those before. Just read about it a bit. Nice to see more MTB standards going onto gravel bikes w/ a MTB sized seat tube and 180 rotors though I’m surprised it doesn’t at least use a MTB crank width to clear a larger rear tire, if not fully committing to boost spacing. Still though looks really cool, probably the best of the monstercross / drop bar mtb / suspension gravel bikes / whatever you want to call them that I’ve seen so far, and the sharpest looking as well.
small size hardtail with dropbar. happy riding.
