Metallic Acid Paint Issues

I purchased my Aeroad CF SLX 5 weeks ago and have loved every second of riding it. Though it’s had some issues. Immediately out of the box I noticed a paint chip on the seat stay (2). I didn’t have an issue as it was small and barely noticeable. I ended reaching out to Canyon support to see if they had a touch up pen. They instructed me to use nail polish or ride wrap. I then asked for the color code. I was told “Metallic Acid”, fantastic to hear and little to no help. I moved on. Last week I noticed some paint chips on the bottom of my down tube (3&4). I thought nothing of it as these chips can happen. After my most recent ride, I decided to wash my bike. Upon drying I find the paint has been aggressively chipped (5&6). I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this as well on this model? I reached out to Canyon support but have yet to hear back. From my last experience and what I’ve seen online, my expectations are low. I’ve only owned this bike since mid July and the thought of it having this much paint damage is heartbreaking. I’ve owned an SL7, SL8, and Scott Addict and never experienced this amount of wear. In fact, none of those bikes had any paint chips…after multiple years of riding on the same roads. Curious about your experiences with support and warranty options. Also what you would do in this event? I brought it to a local bike shop and they were astonished. Told me they would warranty it, if it was theirs. Seems to be a defect when happening this early on. Ironic. As stated at the beginning. I love everything about this bike. The fit and feel are fantastic. It’s quick and surprisingly light. I don’t want to steer anyone away from Canyon. Only looking for options. Ride wrap seems like the way to go if I can’t get a replacement.
