I’m curious what you think about which size would fit me better. I’m 1.92 m tall with an inseam of 96 cm.
The seat post on the size L is already set to its maximum height. Both Trek salespeople told me that either size would fit, so I’d be interested in your opinion on which one would be the better choice.

Either is fine. Personal preference on what you like your upper body position to be like.
As a Domane customer you probably value comfort so I’d recommend the bigger bike for you. If it feels too long (which probably it won’t, since it is a Domane) you can always go for a shorter stem.
