Almost weird to see. Riding is so natural, the idea of going extra slow almost seems scarier to me.
Looks like he’s having a blast! Remind him of the dropper post next time though. It looks like he could really use it.

He’s so lucky to be starting at a time where it’s easy to find mountain biking courses. He should definitely consider it. As a former coach, the amount of progress beginner and intermediate riders make over a weekend is exciting and gratifying. Best wishes to him!
