Join me for a relaxed ride through the Forest of Dean countryside into the market town of Coleford on my classic Pashley bicycle.
Instead of my usual gravel bike adventure, today’s ride is all about a slow relaxing afternoon cycling, enjoying the views and a little bit of shopping.
I cycle into town, stop for a delicious coffee at The Art of Coffee, have a wander around the local shops and simply enjoy a slower paced day.
It’s a reminder that not every ride has to be about distance or speed. Sometimes it’s just about getting out on the bike and enjoying where it takes you.
Thanks for coming along! If you enjoyed the ride, please consider liking the video and subscribing for more cycling adventures from the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.
🚲 Bike: Pashley 3-speed Loop Frame

That’s a lovely little video Hatty 😊
I wish I had more time whilst I was there to visit some shops in Coleford but thanks for showing us around , I’ll definitely pay that record shop a visit next time !
That’s great that you can cycle the whole way pretty much on that track away from the road. Perfect for your shopping bike. You should have given us a twirl in your nice outfit 😅😂
Now we don't see this kind of bike ride from you everyday 😉🚴
My dad drove one of those Military Trucks around there during the war in 1945 – thats how he met my Mum…Thanks for the tour of Coleford. Cheers
Excellent video of a great ride and good info. You have a drone ?
Good video lovely bike and great to see people out on bikes doing the shopping. i do all my shopping on the bike in Ireland. don't need a car.
I don't usually leave comments like this, but after watching a few of your videos, I felt it was worth mentioning. I can see genuine effort behind what you're creating, yet I also noticed a couple of opportunities that may be limiting your growth without you realizing it. The encouraging part is that they're fixable. If you're open to it, I'd be happy to share the observations I made about your channel.
I love the fact that you referred to your bicycle as a she……I do the same!!
Nice little ride, the Forest is not an area I’m really familiar with, unlike the Wye area, especially around Hay, my grandmother and both her parents, my great-grandparents were from Drybrook
