Solid for your first try. A few notes:
* I can see a tiny bit of the shifter clamp. Did you use a small strip over them?
* probably a bit too much electrical tape to finish. Ideally you wouldn’t see multiple overlapping edges of electrical tape.
* Keep a bit more pressure on the tape so it sits nice and flat as it curves
