I have a full-suspension Giant Trance 2. There are no sounds for the first hour of riding, but after that, an awful creaking/crunching noise starts. It seems to disappear when I stop pedaling.

I had insane creaking on my Trance in the seat rails which kept returning until I applied a little copper grease between the rail and rail clamp. Bottom bracket is another option. Honestly creaks are so hard to track down, they often don’t come from where it sounds like. Process of elimination.
