Here it is in all its glory. My first one. I think the colour looks stunning. Not so muted as to be boring, and stands out without being overly loud. I will be installing orange grips for that!

Very excited. Not ridden it yet, just waiting for my torque wrench to arrive so I know I‘ve tightened the pentaclip right. I’m a bit paranoid about getting these things right since noticing there‘s specific torque ratings for them.

Since my other other thread, where I thought the extended seat post might not be high enough, I’ve flipped the pentaclip (narrowly avoiding it falling to bits) onto the higher position, and put it as high as j can on the flat part of the post recess without it clamping on the bevelled part.

Feels better already. During the inaugural ride I’ll see how I find it, as to whether it’s just about high enough or if I feel I need a telescopic post. Also just from sitting on it in the house, I’ve already ordered a Brompton wide saddle. Also ordered a couple of spare tubes as I didn’t have any 16” ones.

Tyre inflation, Brompton recommend 90psi so I guess I’ll go for that. Seems a heck of a lot, they feel pretty firm how they arrived (around 60 according to needle style auto pressure gauge) without pumping up much more. But I guess it’s recommended for good reason. Also I’m on the larger side (around the stated weight limit, I’m working on this & more cycling should help!) so should I go more towards 100 do you think?) Thanks all for your help in this & my questions over the last month or so!

I’m well over the weight limit and pump the tires up like crazy. Don’t have a psi gauge but try to run them extremely firm

Welcome to the club OP, smaller tyres require way former pressure than bigger ones.
