With one stage to go, Cédrine Kerbaol remains in sixth place on GC.
The pace was high all day, even as a two-rider breakaway opened up a gap of up to six minutes on the peloton. Our squad stayed safe, patrolling on the front and riding together to keep Cédrine Kerbaol protected. With 12 kilometers to go, the break was brought back, leaving the door open for the GC favorites to attack. Noemi Rüegg and Cédrine were in the chase group, pushing themselves to the limit. They finished the stage in eighth and tenth on the stage, respectively.
We’ve got one more opportunity. Stage nine climbs the Col d’Eze four times which means plenty of opportunities for aggressive racing – just the way we like it.

Good vlog! Also, it gives a better view of the 'incident' that Kasia was complaining about. It looks as if Kasia wanted to overtake Celia Gery on the outside of the bend and there wasn't room, so she had to slow down, cut back and overtake on the inside. That's nothing to complain about publicly; Kasia was simply in the wrong position. If that's a point of high drama, then almost every single professional sprint finish ever would include public accusations.

At 4.55 minutes stop the video, put your playspeed on 0,25 and watch the footage of the whole exit out of the corner. To me it looks like Gery does indeed hinder Niewiadoma in trying to hold the wheel of Vollering. Niewiadoma is already half a wheel passed Gery when Gery steers to the right, bumps on Niewiadoma and Niewiadoma must break or she will crash on the side of the road. And it looks like Niawiadoma already calls out Gery about this when she passes her on the inside. Try to judge this incident without taking the rest of the stage in account/as an excuse. Can you do that?
