EPISODE #228 –
Moving to Portugal was one of the best things I’ve ever done… we moved to Lisbon around 2.5 years ago and since then a lot has happened including starting our little family. But all good things must come to an end, and in the search of even greater things sometimes you have to take a a few risks. Join me on my farewell ride with my pal David and the Maglev crew, where I rip up the roads of Lisbon for the last time… well for a while at least!

  1. You need an annexe for David to live in, he's the Laurel to your Hardy. Fair play mate – what an opportunity and hope it works out. Looking forward to seeing the new stomping grounds 🀘

  2. The colours on that Giant are gorgeous! 😍

Also, like the mentality of trying and failing over not doing it at all!
Good luck on the new place and looking forward to the new routes

  3. Just spent two weeks on the algarve on holiday (bike included) love those roads and have probably cycled there 8 or 9 times over the years, noticed a lot of tattoo places around Quarteria, Vilamoura, most of the resorts. Vale do Lobo and Quinta is where the money is at. One road i found this year was stunning, the N396 out of Loule heading past charneca, stunning likeable to some of the ma-10 on Majorca. Good luck Thomas.

  4. Good luck with the move. Lots of Poms down there in the Algarve. Good to see an Aussie rocking the national jersey on your ride. You need to go on a gravel ride with the Curve boys

  5. Good luck with the move Thomas – if you move to the eastern Algarve at least you can get into Spain quite easily and expolore so roads over there too.

  6. All the best Thomas and family in your next chapter. A refresh, something different and whilst you can still be reasonably flexible a positive decision to make (and am sure David will come and visit πŸ˜‚). Now waiting for new scenery and ride locations…………….😊

  7. Good luck in the south. The most important is that the whole family feels at home ✌🏻
I moved from Madeira to Jersey and jersey to Helsinki. Helsinki is home!

  8. Good luck with the move, I’m sure everything will work out love the comment if you don’t try you will never know. Spot on and something a lot of us inc me don’t always do. Keep up the great content now you will have to learn to play golf as well being in the Algarve!!!
