In this travel vlog I cycle alone for 5 days in the Black Forest or Schwarzwald.
On day 1 I cycle to the highest point of the Black Forest/ Schwarzwald in Germany. I start my bike trip in Freiburg. I climb 1500m to the top of the Feldberg.
I’m in Baden Württemberg on a challenging solo travel vlog as I go cycling through the stunning Black Forest region with elevations of 12%. I’m not a trained cyclist. I’ll be sharing all the beautiful scenery along the way. With my mountainbike I cycle more than 50km and not only do I show how tough it is, the nature in the Black Forest is also stunning.
Day 2 starts in Lenzkirch and I need to cycle 80 kilometers north to my end destination Wolfach. Between the mountains of the Black Forest / Schwarzwald I find this strange but beautiful village.
It’s a very tough day not only because of 80 kilomterers cycling on gravel paths but also because I need to climb steep hills and mountains. In total I need to climb 1200m. And on top of that it starts raining..
Day 3 starts in Wolfach and I need to cycle 50 kilometers north to my end destination Seebach. Between the mountains of the Black Forest / Schwarzwald I find a little beautiful village
It’s a very tough day not only because of 50 kilomters cycling on gravel paths but also because I need to climb steep hills and mountains. In total I need to climb 1200m.
Somewhere halfway on top of a mountain I find an abandoned shelter where I have a break.
Day 4 starts in Seebach and I need to cycle 50 kilometers south to my end destination Prinzbach. The Black Forest / Schwarzwald is very hilly and I reach speeds of almost 70 km/h.
It’s a very tough day not only because of 50 kilomters cycling on gravel paths but also because I need to climb steep hills and mountains. In total I need to climb 1200m. But when I descend I reach dangerously high speeds.
At the end of the day I arrive at my beautiful accommodation in the middle of the green nature of the Black Forest / Schwarzwald.
On day 5 I experience a 50km cycling route through the Black Forest or Schwarzwald, tackling two major climbs and exploring Germany’s sunniest city on two wheels.
