Do you guys have any videos on cyclists in there 60s, with Knee replacements and riding fixed gear bikes for leg strengthening?????
Body weigh exercises just doesn't work for Wats. Be realistic. You need weight on your back!… unles you do milion repetitions, but then better be riding a bike….
The girl is very hot ❤
This is not strength training. You would be better pointing people towards starting strength or similar programs, Weighted squats and dead lifts even bench press, these compound movements are proven to increase strength.
You need weights. Body weight won’t help a cyclist. I have been lifting since I was 14. I got on the bike for the first time since I was 16 at the age of 40 and due to my weight training I can produce 1700-1800 watts. If you want power do 10 sets of 5 with heavy weights on dead lifts, squats, lunges and flutter kicks until failure.
Did I miss it, or how many wraps should I do the first time, and how much could I increase them over, let's say, a week?
I shouldn’t have eaten dinner first 😂
Hello can you do these exercises before or after cycling? Thanks!
You can use the word beginner all you want but understanding what it means is something else entirely. These are not beginner exercises.
You can body weight squat deep. Keep your back straight. Time under tension and deep squat means more activations too. If you can go beyond parallel.
Some weights and Jui jitsu and judo.
Keeps me fit on and off the bike.
Ty
Vey good
👍
Got a few new exercises to try and very good explainer by the two coaches.
Hank has also sold me on getting a pair of on cloud shoes too 😎
That's fine with the knee lunges but I have had a knee replacement and there's no way I can bend the knee that low.
Nice
Retiree here. No need fancy gym equipment, I do household chores, mopping the floors (squatting), pickup water gallons, move furnitures or use your own weight (weight training), morning planks. Know the correct techniques to avoid injuries.
Gym equipments are overrated sometimes even if you can afford them.
Is it good if I do all of them till I can't anymore in a set
Nothing for calfs?
i thought strength training using free weights i guess im wrong
Do hill repeats , old school
1-squat ( front or back )
2-Dips ( assisted/Bw or weighted)
3-Pull ups ^^^^^^^^^^
4 Clean and Press ( Barbell or kettlebell)
5 Deadlift
6 front elevated barbell split squat
7 Box Jumps
8 stiff leg deadlift or good morning
9 bench press
10 toes to bar or Hanging L sit
What kind of experts are they? Not to tell to warm up your knees before you do any kind of squats. Without warming up you will certainly ruin your knees.
Just basic fact-Strenght training without extra weight cant be called like this. Its more physio compenzation etc. For real seekers check the Robert Forsteman leg day and learn.
I'm 78 and just getting back into cycling. My plan is for 3-days of cycling and 2-days of strength training. These exercises will be challenging for me as I have been off cycling for about 15 years.
Cycling usually works for cycling training.
hank was always such a loser
Squats and squat jumps, and for restore swimming or yoga
For beginners who lean to far forward practise yoga squats try against a wall
Fiddley exercises are just that
On the first exercise why put the left foot forward to only then also put your right foot next to it ?
I feel so silly doing that bear crawl! 😅 But that step-up really feels good.
Is this preparation is ok with cycling practice for 25km cycle race ? How many times should I do these exercises? , watching from india 🇮🇳
Good Shit! 💪
