If your house key breaks while unlocking the door and half of it gets stuck inside the lock, don’t worry—it’s a common issue with a simple fix. Here’s what you can do: Take a small plastic pipe and carefully heat one end until it softens slightly. Once the end is melted and pliable, press it firmly against the broken key inside the lock. Allow it to cool and harden for a few moments, then gently pull the pipe out. The broken piece of the key should come out attached to the pipe. Problem solved, no locksmith needed!
