Thanks to many of you in the comments for pointing out the impracticality of the 2nd type of mechanical doping I’ve shown in the video.
It was the result of confusion, lack of research and lack of physics knowledge on my part.
After I read this in the interview:
“He (Varjas) showed 60 Minutes a model of his latest invention, which appears to have small magnets hidden inside the rim of the rear wheel. Varjas says a battery and electromagnetic coils are also placed in the wheel. When the system is switched on, the electromagnetic coils create a magnetic field, which propels the magnets forward, spinning the wheel faster. Varjas says the system is silent, undetectable even to the rider.”
I searched the web, but I couldn’t find a visual demonstration that matches his description. The right thing to do was not to include it. Will make sure this never happens again.

rofl they could wrap those little motors in those aerospace heat shield tiles that dissipate the heat so fast that it wouldn't be visible on thermal and then wrap that in a lead cover and you wouldn't see it on the xray either. & if they really wanted to dissipate more heat they could cut a little hole or slit in the front of the frame of the bike for air intake and one on the back by the tire or something for exhaust and act like they're just using those holes to run the brake cables.
Has a new drivetrain system from SRAM or Shimano been introduced this year? I've noticed that every time a rider crashes, the chain seems to come off the chainring. It seems to happen systematically, and it's something I don't remember seeing nearly as often before. What's causing it?

I’m sure glade they got all cheating out of bicycling just in time for the Tour de France. But how are they beating all the dopers records this year? They even got Armstrong out there claiming they’re clean. Disgusting!

It's not cheating it's a E bike, it's only cheating when you get caught. AmazingThey put the batteries in the water bottle course.Most of the batteries were in the frame.
The MOST effective tool for finding mechanical doping is: the people at the top of the UCI ! There isn't much difference between the FIFA structure and the UCI structure.
It's still going on in 2026. It's not clean or without cheating. Records are broke left and right. We are watching a billion dollar show 🤡

Something else to consider as this method of driving the cranks by battery and motor were implied, then, would it not be conceivable then when not deployed the motors drive could have been recharging the battery charge back up?
I had a bottom bracket generator over 40yrs ago that ran on the face of the rear tyre which produced 6 volts! Soubitez bottom bracket generator one might think that technology has come on enough to fit inside a bikes seat tube.
What's with the bike changes mid stage as well, never mind flat tyres is it from flat batteries.
As a former mechanic, there was no reason whatsoever that team Sky's bikes were 800gms heavier, unless something was amiss.
