  1. Keep it up! I was doing about 2k a year commuting and felt great, got a motorcycle and haven’t ridden much since, that was 40lbs ago lol

    If you still have a car, make sure you are getting a low annual mileage discount from your auto insurance company.

    I’ve been cycling since April and I’ve done nearly 1000 miles. I cycle 7 miles a day always and other bits on top. My bikes in need of repairs so I haven’t managed to do any for a couple days though

  4. Assuming a pretty typical MPG of 20-25 for most cars and with the current cost of gas this past year that’s over $1000 in just gas alone that you’ve saved! That’s not including other things like oil changes which could easily be $100 to $200 in that same milage!

    Also your health is far better than if you sat those 6000 miles!

  5. Great job! The best part of my job every day was my bike commute. I am retired now and bike commuted well over 100,000 miles during my career.

    That’s the way. Started some 15 years ago, about 65.000 miles an counting.
