That’s around 12 miles a day! How do you deal with bad weather and heat?

If you still have a car, make sure you are getting a low annual mileage discount from your auto insurance company.

I’ve been cycling since April and I’ve done nearly 1000 miles. I cycle 7 miles a day always and other bits on top. My bikes in need of repairs so I haven’t managed to do any for a couple days though

Assuming a pretty typical MPG of 20-25 for most cars and with the current cost of gas this past year that’s over $1000 in just gas alone that you’ve saved! That’s not including other things like oil changes which could easily be $100 to $200 in that same milage!
Also your health is far better than if you sat those 6000 miles!

I just did the math on my commute. 34,160 km in 7 years. Is that good?

Great job! The best part of my job every day was my bike commute. I am retired now and bike commuted well over 100,000 miles during my career.
