My left crank arm bolt keeps loosening after about 10 minutes of riding, causing the crank arm to wobble. I tightened it as much as I could with pliers since I don't have the correct socket/Allen wrench, but it keeps happening. What could be causing this, and how can I fix it?

Your crank arm is wallowed out. Happens a lot with square taper cranks. You can likely find a replacement but make sure you get the right length

Come on. After you get the correct tool if it still backs out put some blue loctite on it.
Get a proper torque wrench
Because you aren’t tightening it enough, it’s impossible to get enough torque on a pair of pliers to do that up properly.
Buy a cheap Chinese socket set, then replace whatever you use enough to break with good quality stuff. Best way to build up a decent maintenance tool box without having to spend much money.
Sounds like new bike day. Or just buy a 14mm socket and do the damn thing up properly.
