So I noticed this after doing a long session today with my Scott Addict 40 which I've had for about 2 months. One of the two bolts that holds the hydraulic disc brake looks to be covered in some kind of rust and/or lime, while the other bolt is completely clean. I've been dripping sweat a lot on some of my rides, so did a drop of sweat get on it or is it maybe a hydraulic leak from the brake that's causing this? Can it be cleaned or do I need to replace the bolt?

You should replace this, quickly, with *real* brake bolts. Like, factory spec brake bolts. You *do not* want to get this thing stuck in your frame.
yeah my specialized has this issue too. I will replace the next one with a titanium set which should not corrode. It’s from my sweat.
Is this on a trainer?
Regardless, pull it and replace with new. Grease coat, stainless or a ti bolt on the new ones.
Get titanium or stainless bolts. M5 button head, 37mm length.
If you go the stainless route, I would still drip some Boeshield T-9 on the head.
you can apply very little of grease on the finger and scribble on the bolt. the factory bolts are not stainless. they are just normal 8.9 or 12.9 hardness blued blots.
