Nicely done video! In the future it would be fun if interviewed some expats who have lived there awhile. I am a solo traveler also and love meeting the locals. I imagine it’s beautiful in the spring and summer.

3 of my kids live in Dijon now they are grown up , my wife and i are about 90km outside and probably visit 2 or 3 times a month , although my wife is actually there most days with her job as an ambulancier taking people to Dijon hospital and various other clinics , its a great place to visit though , check out the Zeneth venue to see whos playing, you never know who you might see live, its on the outskirts of town next to the big Toison Dor shopping center
I walked to go eat about 1.75 miles from dijon center (rue Vannerie, 10 minute walk to the arch) and the food was ABSOLUTELY authentic and less expensive, delicious. The art museum was incredible too.

In September 2025, I'm going to France for three weeks of language classes.
I'm having trouble narrowing down where I should go. Maybe Lyon for two weeks and another town for another week.
I looked at Strasburg, but all the videos are just of the same central tourist areas. Which made it look like there wasn't a lot to do there after your first day or two of touristing.
I can go anywhere in France.
Curious, if you have a minute, to hear your thoughts on which town(s) you would prefer to go back to for a week or two.
