Canyon aeroad cfr. Much cheaper and as good or better than other more exoensive bikes
Aeroad looks boring but the Specialised and Cannondale do not?
If money doesn't matter, obviously Colnago Fleur de Lys (I will hunt it down their secondhand ones)
For all the manufacturers claims about the various bikes, there seemed to be very little between them.
I will let you off missing out the Cofidis LOOK 795 Blade, as the bikes had to won a stage, at least. The paint job is way better than the TREK, and full Campagnolo too! The bike ticks nearly all the boxes, in my opinion.
How about Pinarello Dogma… ridden by two teams: Ineos and Q 36.5? Didn't you like them?
The choice of colours for the Colnago Y1RS is terrible, and only two of them do without the UAE Emirates logos
TotalEnergies' CUBE bikes were the best.
If one buys the Colnago, does one get all the full spectrum of enhancements TP get…?
Sad that Factor were missing. The Ostro is excellent and I hope it will be in the Tour next year.
BMC TeamMachine R 01
too much pain to repair/work with at home. Better S-works or Canyon
2026 Giant TCR Advanced Pro small for me setup as a climbing bike. Affordable.
Are the Trek bikes actually painted? Or wrapped? I thought you were going to talk about that X Lab and the S5.. 😢
Pogi would win the Tour with any decent midrange bike. An acquisition of a pro bike is a total waste of money for any amateur cyclist. It's not in the bike, despite what marketeers pretend…
Strange that you have a back drop of the X-Lab and then not mention it. The Trek paint job is a mess.
Bonjour le colnago n’est vraiment pas beau
Sounds your choices were aesthetic. So best looking bikes, not best bikes.
How about the wilier filante slr id2?
I've waited for the supersix for months UK. I've given up after promise after promise . Ordered a new Soloist here end of week 🤣
Was watching only to get your comment on the Orbea. Now I‘m sad.
the Tour was over in the first week . so boring . colnago sucks
If I could have one for free, probably the Pinarello. If I had to pay, probably the Aeroad, although I like the Trek paint-job and was super-impressed by Mads!
I will take the LOOK Super Record with that beautiful paint. Not even close. Who would have thought the Italians would have the two ugliest bikes at the Tour with the Y1RS and Dogma? Both hideous.
After all these years, I still don't like the Helvetica font for the Cannondale logo, nor the head tube symbol that looks like a loading animation. Nice paint job, though.
I like a bland looking fast bike, it masks my lack of power when I get dropped by some teenager or 20 something year old on their previous gen TCR 😅
The Colnago is the Venge Specialized was supposed to make… it’s 🔥 just standing still and in any color… 🍻
Heart says Y1RS, brain says the SL9. Aeroad doesn't make sense after the Endurace CFR became available.
Perhaps not a classic? GC not as close as it could have been!? What an understatement; that was the most dull TdF I can remember. Stage 21 saved the day though with Van der Poel's crushing, inspirational victory, just amazing to watch. As for the bikes Cofidis's Look is a glaring omission. So superior and interesting compared to any of the mainstream dentist bikes mentioned. And only the French can come up with a paint job as stylish as that.
