Mathieu van der Poel produced an unforgettable victory after attacking alongside the Yellow Jersey of Tadej Pogačar on the final ascent of Montmartre before winning the sprint on the Champs-Élysées. Meanwhile, Pogačar secured his record-equalling fifth Tour de France title, joining the greatest champions the race has ever known.
