I have an old fixie bike and I believe the bottom
Bracket has disintegrated or something, I can’t actually see a way to get the bottom bracket out as it looks welded. Any ideas ?
Sounds suboptimal. Would check for any play in the axle and strongly consider a new BB.

Pinion fixie amazing

Looks like a cup and cone bb. Very common on older bikes and easy to remove. I’d remove it and replace with a sealed cartridge with the same axle length. You can clean and re grease if you want but a new bb is cheap and easy job for a bike shop if you don’t fancy it yourself

Only the shell is welded; the bottom bracket itself can be removed with the proper tools.
